Rev.Capt. Sheoli Makara, M.A., Reiki Master founded Awakening In Paradise Retreats on Big Island Hawaii in 1996 as an inspirational and beautiful environment for healing, introspection, rest and adventure.
Sheoli has spent many years swimming in the ocean with dolphins and whales, she loves to share with others how to be with the dolphins and feel how they teach interconnectedness and heart consciousness. She talks of the many dolphin healing miracles that have occurred as well as her experiences of inter species connection.
Sheoli’s main passion now is giving back to the dolphins and whales that have given so much. She shares stories of how some of the ocean healing charities including Greenpeace, Sea Shepherd and Earth Island Institute are doing that.
